health and wellness products

Health and wellness products don't just come from a bottle or a jar, they can also come from a specific location or place. Some of the most unique health and wellness products are applied to the skin as directly extracted from the plants they originate from--with no processing required at all, except to squeeze them from the plant or fruit.

I remember on one tropical vacation, my son got a sunburn. As we were walking, we came across a large plot of Aloe Vera plants, part of a former, now abandoned plantation. We plucked some pieces of the plant and broke off the tips, then squeezed the juice directly onto his sunburn--the relief was almost immediate--no processing or chemical enhancement was necessary.

I have also received the benefit of mud packs and plant and fruit juices, again, no processing necessary.

Health and wellness products can be processed, don't get me wrong, it's just that in North America, we think everything has to be processed--it doesn't. Having said that, I do also used highly processed health and wellness products that I very much enjoy the benefits of.

But, sometimes I think it helps to realize that there are still many valuable health and wellness products available in spas in beautiful locations (sometimes the location is healing in and of itself!) that are skillfully used in their natural state.
